Today, I wanted to share one of the struggles that held me back.
I’m a firm believer in sharing the good, amazing, bad and ugly. I don’t believe in painting everything to look like it’s all glamorous. Nope!
So here we go!….
I used to focus so much on me.
I was worried about not having x qualifications, not banking x figures, not having magazine like photoshoots…
Ever been there before? Worrying about the things you don’t have?
I was making it all about me and I let it hold me back, thus robbing people of the results I could help them get.
But it got to the point when I realised that being stuck in that mindset was not serving me so I made a decision to get out of my own way and start reaching out to people that I could help.
Once I did, I started hearing comments like…..
“Thank you Ruth, you’ve helped me to believe that I can do this, it’s suddenly coming together”
or….
“I was so confused about my ideal client and it was driving me mad, thank you for helping me get clear about it.”
(I could post a list of all the comments I was getting, but I’ll stop here….you get the point).
These sort of comments made me realise that I could do this! (And I know you can too)!
That all the stories I was telling myself were my own made up stories.
I realised that I did indeed have something to offer (and I’m pretty sure that you do too)!
And that’s all that matters.
The RESULTS you can help people get.
The transformations you can help them to achieve.
The possibilities that you can help them see.
That’s what matters.
It’s NOT about you lovely!
Get out of your way and make things happen! Your clients are out there waiting for you!
